·This paper aims at assessing the fracture behavior,which occurs under the fatigue load of mode 1 at DCB specimen in CFRP with laminate angle bonded by adhesive.The fatigue experiments were carried out with the specimens of three laminate angles of 30º,45º and 60º by endowing unique characteristics to each of the specimen by applying fiber laminate angle.BOND AND SPLICE BEHAVIOR OF HIGH MODULUS CFRPCFRP splice plate was the primary mode of failure for the tested joints.The research also indicated that the use of a reverse tapered joint configuration can significantly increase the splice joint capacity.The findings indicate that careful detailing can significantly increase the capacity of bonded CFRP splice joints.KEYWORDS
